Worship Gatherings are the way Timberland Bible Church gets together on a Sunday morning. The church gathers to worship God and honor his Son. Timberland loves adults and kids and enjoy having them together in our services. While we offer nursery care, we encourage kids to remain in the service with parents and adults. Our services engage them with teachings for the whole family. The lessons are fun and approachable, with activities that engage kids and adults alike. Afterward discussion questions help connect teachings to everyday life. .
Timberland believes that we don't go to church... WE ARE THE CHURCH. When we get together, the church comes together. Therefore, we gather in home groups around the Michiana Area, in order encourage and pray for one another, to read Scripture together, to eat and fellowship with one another. These home groups meeting weekly or by weekly and follow our multigenerational model.
Timberland Bible Church is connected to a body larger than itself. We are all part of the Body of Christ. Though we make our own decisions as a church, we are connected to a National conference of Churches. Closer to home, there are multiple churches in the Michiana area that share similar beliefs and values. In order to better serve our communities, we created Brothers and Sisters in Christ, or BASIC, for worship, education, and service beyond the borders of our individual church walls. BASIC provides weekly adult and youth Christian Education, special worship and teaching events, service opportunities, and more.
At Timberland, we believe that youth and kids are the church of tomorrow, those who we want to train up in the Lord. Because God has given us our children, we believe he has also equipped us to train our children. While some gatherings, like BASIC Bible Study, are split by age group, our Worship Gatherings and Home Gatherings are for the whole family; our children see us living out our faith and make it their own.
At Timberland Bible Church, we believe that discipleship is an integral part of the Christian faith. At it's roots, discipleship is about believers learning the gospel, growing in faith, and living out the gospel in the world. We see discipleship happing in these three areas: know, grow, and go.

God has blessed us with talented musicians who serve by offering contemporary music and fresh interpretations of traditional hymns. Our worship is not about being entertained, but about preparing our hearts and minds to hear the Word of God and properly respond to it. As a part of our worship, we partake in Communion together and give offerings in support of God's work here and elsewhere. Our worship times are casual, reflective, and open to all.
Our purpose as a church is to bring glory to God. As we live out God’s Word, He sends us into our neighborhood, our city, and the world to declare the good news of the gospel. It’s in newness of life, not tradition or religious duty, that we obey God’s commission for the church.
