Pastor Jake joined TBC in 2018. He attended Atlanta Bible College from 2009-2012, serving in a number of ways both at the college and at a local church in McDonough, GA. In 2012, he also married Amber and interned in Springfield, OH. In 2013, they had a daughter, Melody, and were called to move to Brooklyn Park, MN, where he served as an associate and later a Preaching and Teaching Pastor. Jake finished his M.Div. program from Bethel Seminary, St. Paul, in the winter of 2018. Jake is a “nerd” and enjoys board games, video games, roleplaying games, books, comic and movies. His favorite Super Hero is Captain America and prefers Captain Picard over Kirk, though he acknowledges both have their strengths. Most of all, Jake loves his lord and savior, Jesus Christ, who connects him to his Father God.
Nate has attended TBC his entire life and enthusiastically serves God the Father, the Savior Jesus Christ, and the church body in the role of Elder. He has been blessed to lead many in spiritual matters over the years, but is most proud of the fine examples of living like Christ that his four children have become. His lovely wife and cool parents also serve in leadership roles at TBC.Nate also enjoys his opportunity to be our music and worship director. He shares a passion for both traditional and contemporary worship music, which is reflected in the blend of song choices for our morning service each Sunday. The worship band consists of musicians of all experience levels, and Nate is always welcome to talking to you about how you can be an active part of the band or worship service! Just walk over to the piano after the closing prayer and give him a friendly tap on the shoulder.
